Progress to date

The Department of Education (DoE) is responsible for the delivery of the three schools. This is happening as part of the Exchequer Funded Schools Programme / Devolved Schools Building Programme 2 (DSBP2) managed by the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) on behalf of DoE.  The project name for the Celbridge Education Campus is Project Shannon.

November 2024

There is agreement in principle on the site purchase and draft contracts have been exchanged.  The design team have met school representatives regarding the design.

June 2024

Architectural design is underway. The process of appointing the design team was completed in Q1 2024.

Sale closed on the Donaghcumper site for the Education campus.
